Job Title: Diesel Technician

Job Summary:
PurrFormance Diesel, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and fuel systems. This role involves working on light- to heavy-duty diesel vehicles, including R&R (remove and replace) of fuel injection components, turbochargers, and complete engine systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, fuel systems, and drivetrains
• Perform R&R of fuel injection components, turbos, and full engine assemblies
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs according to OEM specifications
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals
• Operate diagnostic tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with other technicians and service writers to ensure quality service
• Complete documentation for all work performed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of diesel technician experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
• Ability to read schematics and service manuals
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and computer systems
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• ASE Certification or equivalent is a plus
